This is a landmark video at Gauss Productions.

In 2013, a group of filmmakers got together to tackle a serious project for the first time. Our director found a contest for one of our favorite bands: Snow Patrol. We were instantly on full-on production mode.

The song wasn’t new, but the band wanted a new approach, a new vision for their music video, which already had an official version, albeit very abstract in its approach.

For our version, we decided to interpret the song as a relationship, it’s trials and tribulations along the way, how time affects love, and the pitfalls they could fall in, if honesty disappears.

Production involved creating a dolly, motion tracking, photo and video editing and 3D VFX.

The video took home the 1st place, competing on a world-wide contest against some really amazing work. Ultimately, the band itself selected our video.

This prize solidified our mission to create unique and awe-inspiring work, which we aim to accomplish in all of our videos.
